Following ZZA’s strategic role in evolving PwC’s Future Working Environment, PwC assigned us to their Birmingham practice to facilitate moving from two existing buildings into just one. Working with business leaders and staff to develop the brief, we explored business aims, workstyles, functional needs, technology, spatial arrangements and work practices.
The dynamic building occupancy achieved at Cornwall Court has led the way in intensive space use. The dramatic real estate savings provided rapid payback on the project cost. The workspace, collaboration settings and fine client facilities promoted business development. The business out-performed its projections following the move, attributing this to the new workplace. The project won the BCO ‘Best of the Best’ Award as a workplace solution, and has become the platform for wider transformation in PwC.
