ZZA's team of research consultants come from social science, built environment and business disciplines. This mix is essential to the practice vision - providing fluent links between cultural, social and design perspectives to achieve effective building use.

ZZA was founded in 1990 by Ziona Strelitz. Ziona trained as a Social Anthropologist (University of Cape Town), Town Planner (University College London, Bartlett School) and Interior Designer (Parsons School of Design, New York). Her career has linked these perspectives, focussing on the interface of people and their environments.
